Martha’s Vineyard Residence

We were contracted by premier architecture firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects to design and supply all the materials for six traditionally-styled wood burning masonry fireplaces. The design goals of the residence's exterior required complicated chimney flue runs with multiple offsets within the constraints of naturally drafted wood-burning fireplaces. We custom fabricated chimney flue components to snake around the building structure to exhaust smoke up through terminations. With many of our projects in wet and windy conditions, the chimney flues and terminations have built-in drains to minimize maintenance and extend the life of these functional and beautiful fireplaces.
